cylinder head bolts 16-18 ft-lbs

cylinder bolts 25-29 ft-lbs

connecting rod bolts 29-30 ft-lbs

side cover bolts 14-16 ft-lbs

flywheel nut 60-65 ft-lbs

spark plug 15-20 ft-lbs

crankcase bolts 14-16 ft-lbs

cylinder head shroud 8-10 ft-lbs

engine mounting nuts 25-30 ft-lbs

Standard bore on a 341cc (KF-82 side value engine) is 3.150 US To measure oversize .01 Over = .25mm & .02 Over = .50mm

Standard Bore: 3.15 in. (80mm)

Piston to Cylinder Wall Clearance: .010 in. MAX

Bore cylinder with a new Piston to: Cylinder Wall Clearance: 2-3 Thousands MAX

Bore Taper (top to bottom): .006 in.

Bore Out of Round: .001 in.

Ring end Gap (all): .006 in.

Piston Pin to Piston Clearance: .002 in.

Connecting Rod Big End Side Play: .020 in.

Standard Crank Pin: 1.259 in.

Crank Pin Wear: .002 in.

KF-82 Valve Lash Specs Valve clearance for both intake and exhaust is .004 to .008 cold. Check with engine at TDC of compression stroke, make sure both valves are closed. To adjust first check your clearance Tappet caps come in sizes .106”, .114”, .124”, .134”, .144”. NOTE: To get the caps off you have to remove the cylinder. KF-82 Torque Specs
