Forward & Reverse Switch Assembly (FR-001)

OEM #1011997 This switch can be retrofitted to be used on earlier Club Cars. You will need to drill new mounting holes in the mounting bracket. On 1975 to 1979 remove the two motor wires, (A1 and A2) that are connected at the bottom of the switch and jumpered to the rotor. Hook them back up to the rotor only. Now take (S) wire that was connected to the upper right bus bar on your old switch and move it to one of the two lower parallel bus bars. These two bars will need to be jumpered together. Now take the battery positive cable and hook it to the single bus bar on the right side. On 1981 to 1985 install the two wires that went to the rotor back on the rotor of the new switch. Move battery positive to the single right hand bus bar. Connect the S1 terminal from the motor to one of the bottom parallel bus bars on the bottom of the new switch. These two bus bars will need to be jumpered together. The fourth wire coming from the middle of the battery stack is not used and should be removed. This wire was for an 18 volt reverse so you would not go as fast in reverse
